Crafty Saturday....

So, as I get older, I'm getting more country.....well, not really me but in my house. I just love cozy country warmth but don't worry, no animals, such as cows and chickens have invaded....and they never will, only in the form of steaks and wings......mmmm, I'm hungry. So this was my project for today.....I wanted something to fill a blank wall in my house and saw these and thought, hmm, I'd like to try those. I think they turned out so good and the candles on top are flameless so Scoutty won't get hurt if she tries to make a grab for one of them. On that note, I'm going to cook some steak....that sounded good.

Oops, I just added the top picture for my mom but since all of you get to look at it....I still need pictures in the frames and the GIVE will be dark brown with the I highlighted with cute scrapbooky paper modpodged on it.....and underneath the bottom shelf and next to the candles, I'm putting a little 1.5 foot curtain rod with cute end thingy's right there to display one of my quilts. Hopefully it will all be cute in the end.

They look great and there is nothing wrong with turning a little country- some of us have been there for years--and it is so much more cozy feeling!!
