Does anyone know anything about babies??? I have one but I feel like I'm doing it all wrong. Dont they get into a schedule of eating every three to four hours at some point? Scoutt doesnt eat alot in the morning but by the afternoon, it's every two hours. I guess that's HER schedule but it seems strange. It's been so long since Keegan was a baby......and I'm getting sooo old....I can't remember anything. Everyone keeps telling me that it'll all come back but so far, nothing. And what's up with the whole sleeping thing? Arent newborn supposed to sleep alot during the day? Scoutt will take about 4 power naps (20 minutes each) for the whole entire day....that's it. She seems tired but wont settle down to get to sleep. Any advice from anyone would be greatly appreciated!
Well, we are on the move on Tuesday. It was supposed to be Monday but the moving company that we hired are total wimps and dont want to pack up our house in -30 weather. Ryan said to me yesterday..."Seriously, haven't they heard of toques?" I thought that was kind of funny. Obviously Ryan was born and raised in the cold and has no sympathy. Anyways, we are getting packed up and moving on Tuesday. I cant wait to get into our new house and get settled for Christmas. I think my tree is going to be the first thing unpacked. When we moved to Calgary, it was the 15th of December and the only thing that I took up early was the tree and all the decorations for it. Our house was totally empty except for the gorgeous tree in the living room. I think that's how this move will go down too. It just hasnt felt like Christmas this year with all this craziness happening in our lives right now.......
Just a final note on Christmas....I actually said Bah Humbug this year and meant it!!! We went to the kids' school christmas concert the other night and had to wait in line for 15 minutes in the freezing cold to get inside the school. Seriously, all for an elementary school christmas concert??? Needless to say, I was pretty ticked off and frozen by the time I arrived inside...

Good luck with the move. If you need any help let us know. I can't believe you had to wait in the cold for a elementary concert. Next time everyone will be late so they don't have to wait in a line. Have a good week!
I wish I had some amazing wisdom to pass on, but aren't we all just making it up as we go? That's how I feel anyway. Maybe you can let me know when you figure it our again. :) Good luck with everything!
Note to self: Ask God why babies didn't come with an owners manual. Maybe a section of scripture could have been added in the Bible or the Book of Mormon.
Hope your move goes well and that not too many things get broken! Make sure you post pictures of your new house and all the fabulous decorating I am sure you will do.
PS I have a new blog going, you might want to change your link. (You know cause I'm SO interesting!)
I started writing you but it was too long, I'll just facebook you..
My Madison was just like that, it was not fun, I can tell you that. I didnt even bother with schedules, they never stick to them anyways so whats the point of waisting all that time trying to make them work! Hope your move went well! I do have a Christmas card for you but sisnce I dont have our new address I might just give it to your mom and have her get it to you, would probably be faster! Have a great Christmas!
