Silver lining in everything.....until it costs us $$$$

So, it snowed this weekend. So many people were angry/grumpy about it and I thought...."No, I'm going to look at the positive side of things". So I did. I noted in my head how it is going to make everything so green and pretty outside, Red Deer is in a bit of a drought so the extra moisture is fabulous and I won't have to water my lawn anytime soon which will save $$ on our water bill. I was feeling pretty good about myself for being so positive and not letting the snow get me down.....yeah, that was until we looked out our back window and saw that it had totalled our brand new gazebo. My "positive outlook" went right down the crapper for a few minutes. Ohhhhh, I was mad. That gazebo cost us $400 and we sat under it twice....which I don't think was worth $200 each sit but whatever. After we did some damage control on it, we started laughing.....realizing there is not a darn thing we could do about it. So now we are really hoping that we can save $$ on our water bill so that we can replace our NEW GAZEBO. Also, I pointed out to Ry today that if we get a new one that is exactly the same, it will last forever since we'll have two sets of netting and fabric for it.....silver lining in everything right???

I was actually thinking about your gazebo yesterday and wondered how it would hold up? That really stinks!

I think you should become friends with a welder...I'm sure he can fix your problems! That totally sucks! Good luck! (I'm serious about the welder.)
