While the Family's away....the Mommy will play...

Okay, so not really. Ryan and the two big kids are out at his parents cabin in BC. I opted not to go this year and stay home to get some projects done. They just left yesterday and already I have stained the front porch, re-organized the office, taken garbage out, got groceries, played with Scoutty etc. etc......so much more gets done when the house stays clean behind me as I work. I miss Ryan and the kids a bit but it's so nice not to have to cook. Scoutty had veggie soup for supper last night and I had Maple Walnut ice cream. No cooking necessary.....ahhh, my kind of living(for a few days, anyways).....

Today is more cleaning and de-cluttering and setting up Scoutty's new water table play thingy......whatever, she'll love it!!
