Festival of Trees and the Official Opening of Sharpe's Rink....

Ryan has been working forever on this rink...or so it seems. A few days ago, it was the official opening of his rink. Some of the neighborhood kids came over and the kids skated for hours. Keegan was up bright and early again this morning out skating and both of the big kids are planning on skating all afternoon today. What a great thing for the kids. Ryan keeps trying to get me in some skates but I have a slight phobia with skating and rinks.....ever since breaking my leg at age 6 on ice, cracking my knee at age 10 on ice and cracking my wrist at age 12 on ice.....can you blame me????

On another note, Tatum is in school choir again this year. Their first performance was at the Festival Of Trees this weekend. We rushed over and waited in line for forever and by the time we got in there to see her perform, she was done and off the stage. I felt so bad. Oh well, there's always next year! I took the kids to Candy Cane lane at the festival. It is full of games and prizes and fun things to make and do. Keegan did double of everything since Tatum couldn't stay with us, she had to go back to the school. So we were there forever but the kids had a great time. Scoutty just ate candy canes the whole time....she was sticky but happy!
