Romanian Christmas

Every year at Christmas, the Gibb Family pools their money together to do something charitable for someone else. We all takes turns at getting the $$ and choosing what we will do with it. This year, we have chosen to send gifts to the children of Romania. Why Romania? Well, that's where Ryan served his mission. The need is great there. Most children wont even have one gift under the tree this year.

We are trying to get some donations since our money will barely cover the expense of just shipping the boxes over. And there is a time crunch! It has to be sent in 4 weeks for them to get it for Christmas! We are looking for the following donations:

stickers

toothbrushes

small packaged candy

small coloring books

hairbows and accessories

foam airplane kits

toy cars

small lego sets

tiny foam type balls

Remember, that the shipping charge is dependant on weight so we need everything to be as light as possible. Anything that you can do to help out would be great. The mission president's wife in Romania is co-ordinating all the efforts there and is excited to send Elders and Sisters out Christmas morning, loaded up with goodies, to unsuspecting children. We can take things off of your hands anywhere in Red Deer, Magrath, or Lloydminster. Thanks so much!

What a great thing to do! I'm sad not to see Calgary on your list of cities, would I be able to email you a small cash donation for you to buy a few things?
