Easter, East Indians and School Projects......

This year is just flying past and I'm not blogging as much as I should be, so here is three posts all in one.

Tatum and her friend Brooklyn had a school project to do a few weeks ago. They had to make something that they could put a light in and with the wires and batteries they had, it would light up. They decided to do a camping scene. It turned out so well. The fire lights up and it looked really good. They were so proud of all their hard work.

The kids decided the other day to dress up as someone from another country. They chose....well, you can see for yourself.....it was pretty funny.

This easter weekend, we were going to go up to Ryan`s family for dinner but Scoutty turned up with pink eye this week and was really quite sick with a fever, cough, cold etc. so the two big kids went up and spent the weekend with Grandma and Grandpa Sharpe. They had lots of fun but we sure missed them....no easter egg hunt or any of the fun things that we do on Easter weekend. The best of the weekend for us was having our neighbors over along with their neice, Brittany. We pulled out the bbq, cooked up some steaks and had a delicious meal....and yes, it was delicious and yes, I did cook it. I know, they dont really go well together but it HAPPENED!!! Then we had a bowling tournament on the wii. The kids made a Bowling Cup....it was so cute. Keegan ended up winning but he gave the cup to Brittany since she was a guest and she was heading back to Vancouver on an airplane and the thought of her carrying the cup back on her lap, made us all giggle. Then we pulled out wii fit and the hula hoop game. Everyone did well that tried it...well, except Bruce, he failed but it was great fun for everyone to watch!!!

I guess that`s it for life as of late. We have another crazy few weeks of busy schedules including info nights for the kids schools they may be attending next year. Tatum is so excited to be going into Jr. High......me, not so much. Keegan was invited to join the Horizons program here in Red Deer....it`s for gifted children. It is an exciting time for both of them.
